SHABBOS

A comfortable and meaningful Shabbos

Each room at 18 On The Hill is equipped with a Shabbos lamp, cupboard light sensors are deactivated for Shabbos, staff are briefed on Shabbos requirements and a hot water urn is available throughout Shabbos. The same arrangements can be coordinated at external lodges.

WALKS & TECHUM

Guided walks planned in advance

Guided walks through Big Five territory can be arranged in advance, with routes available within the techum as well as longer walks for guests who choose that option. Guides are familiar with the halachic considerations and plan around Shabbos entry and exit times.

ERUV

Practical halachic planning

The lodge is enclosed by a secure perimeter fence that also keeps wildlife out of camp. Where required, a tzuras hapesach has been incorporated to facilitate an eruv reviewed by respected Rabbonim.

YOM TOV

Sukkos or Pesach in the bush

Fully catered Yom Tov experiences can be arranged at 18 On The Hill or at the lodge of your choice. The aim is a memorable Yom Tov with professional kosher meals, lodge comfort and far less planning stress.
