Core services

Everything needed to make the lodge kosher.

The service is not a generic package. Each trip is built around the destination, the kitchen, the staff, the meals, the standards and the guests.

01 / MASHGICHIM

Travelling supervision

Experienced mashgichim are available to travel and supervise catering at safari lodges, private events, guest kitchens or remote venues. We work closely with each client to provide the level of kashrut they require.

02 / KITCHEN KIT HIREKosher kitchen kit rental icon

Kosher kitchen kits

High-quality kosher kitchen kits for hire, delivered directly to your lodge, venue or accommodation. We follow a strict kashering policy and offer separate kits to suit specific requirements.

  • Cutlery, crockery and kitchen equipment
  • Separate Chalav Yisrael equipment available
  • Delivered to lodge, venue or accommodation
03 / FOOD & LOGISTICS

Groceries, catering and coordination

We can assist with kosher grocery shopping, supplying kosher food for your lodge or venue, arranging a qualified mashgiach and coordinating kosher catering from start to finish.

04 / GAME DRIVE TIFFINS

Kosher tiffin tins in the bush

Morning game drives feature parev or dairy snacks. Afternoon drives can include kosher biltong or droëwors, with the tins clearly treated as fleishig so guests can follow their personal kashrut practice.

05 / WINE & SPIRITS

Kosher wines and spirits

We offer kosher wines and spirits to complement your stay. 18 On The Hill stocks predominantly mevushal wine, with non-mevushal sourced on request and safeguarded with a secure bottle lock when needed.

06 / REMOTE DESTINATIONS

Your lodge, or ours

We can work at 18 On The Hill, at an external safari lodge, at a private event or at the destination of your choice. Separate kosher equipment and refreshments are provided as required.
